I shredded my chicken and cooked bacon the day before.
Also I cooked my own fresh diced chicken breast for less sodium and used only two slices of bacon crumbled on top.
It might work well in the crock pot.
Just let the moisture evaporate and stir occasionally until mushrooms are slightly crisp and browned.
We used it for the rest of the pulled pork once the balsamic glaze ran out.
Still delicious with the sauce though!
Sides were garlic spinach and garlic roasted potatoes!
