The following announcement, used in conjunction with announcements made at the end of Sunday Masses brought a group of 30 parishioners, from a St. Thomas Aquinas, University Parish, Boulder, CO, to a Landings training workshop.

Landings, a Paulist ministry of outreach to welcome returning Catholics, will be held on Friday and Saturday, January 31 and February 1. Those who are interested in forming a core group of welcome and to help organize the program are invited to attend this TRAINING SESSION (dates and times). Fr. Jac Campbell, a Paulist priest and Director of Landings, will direct the training. Please contact : ( Names and phone numbers).

The planning team thought using the word "training" rather than "workshop" was helpful. One speaker also included the fact that she had returned to the church a few years ago.
